Jerry F. Barbanel named President & CEO of Precision Discovery
Seasoned Executive Appointed To Lead IT Risk And Litigation Consulting Company
August 27, 2008 (New York, NY) - Precision Discovery, a provider of IT risk and litigation consulting solutions, today announced the appointment of Jerry F. Barbanel as President and Chief Executive Officer. Barbanel brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Precision Discovery, combining his deep understanding of electronic discovery, computer forensics and IT security with business and legal acumen.

Barbanel joins Precision Discovery from Aon Consulting, where he served as an executive vice president for the financial advisory and litigation consulting services practice. In this role, he was responsible for all aspects of the practice's business and operational initiatives, with a focus on the practice's IT risk consulting services. He also served as a managing director at Kroll, where he was the national practice leader of the forensic and investigative accounting practice, which included overseeing the practice's IT risk consulting group. In addition, Barbanel was a senior member of the litigation consulting and forensic accounting departments at Arthur Andersen and KPMG, where he was a principal and director, respectively. Upon graduating from law school, he served as an Assistant District Attorney in Manhattan, and subsequently practiced civil litigation at a law firm.
