Electronic Discovery Analyst

A Electronic Discovery Analyst is a an eDiscovery position requiring basic data manipulation skills related to data processing, load file creation and modification, TIFF generation, email handling and loose document processing. It is helpful to have some basic knowledge of networks and basic forensic data skills. Microsoft Excel skills are also helpful. This position may require shift work and work on the weekends. Travel is not mandatory for this position but may be required.

Discovery Consultant/Project Manager

Precision Discovery is hiring a Discovery Consultant/Project Manager. A Discovery Consultant is an eDiscovery position that manages every stage in an eDiscovery project. The position requires excellent communication and client service skills that include the ability to define, plan and execute the collection, processing, review and document production strategy for a discovery project.

The Discovery Consultant (“DC”) is the face of Precision Discovery on every project and is the primary point of client contact for the life of a project. The DC is responsible for tracking, managing, and communicating progress both internally and to the client. This role is responsible for maintaining client satisfaction during the relationship, and the successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of the litigation and discovery process. Success in the DC role relies heavily on the DC’s ability to communicate, set, and maintain clear expectations with clients while applying the appropriate priority with colleagues. Success at Precision Discovery will require a great personality, individual initiative, intellectual curiosity, and an absolute refusal to fail your clients and colleagues.

JD and litigation experience are highly preferred.


Attorney Reviewer Position

Precision Discovery is seeking document review project attorneys. We are looking for all levels of experience. Candidate must be a member in good standing of any State Bar. Please ensure your resume includes the state in which you are licensed.

Base rates are equal to market rates in your area and increase based on type of case, special requirements and role/level of responsibility on case.

Precision Discovery’s primary managed review center is in Chicago, IL. Conveniently located in the Chicago Loop, close to mass transportation hubs. However, project needs may dictate different locations across the country.


Senior Reviewer Position

Precision Discovery is seeking Senior Document Review project attorneys. Candidate must be a member in good standing of any State Bar. Please ensure your resume includes the state in which you are licensed.

Senior attorneys will possess some knowledge of the EDRM and the document review process, have experience leading teams and managing and/or teaching co-workers, have an intermediate knowledge of Relativity functionality required for managing document reviews such as advanced searching and field, choice, view, layout, and batch creation and management. Senior Reviewers will also possess a basic knowledge of a technical and substantive quality assurance processes and work well as part of a team. Preference is given to those with a desire to advance in a career in eDiscovery.

Managing Document Review attorneys will possess a firm knowledge of the EDRM and the document review process, have experience leading teams and managing and/or teaching co-workers, have an advanced knowledge of Relativity functions required for the entire review lifecycle, starting from review setup, to maintenance, through production. Required knowledge of Relativity functionality include: advanced searching and field, choice, view, layout and batch creation and management. Managing Document Review Attorneys will also possess knowledge of project management and technical and substantive quality assurance processes and work well as the team leader.
