Ten years ago, the launch of Precision Discovery created a new type of discovery company – one that sought to reestablish evidence as the foundation of legal discovery. To achieve that mission, experts in forensics, eDiscovery, review, and software came together with one goal in mind: to prevent the complexities of the discovery processes from obscuring the evidence that makes and breaks cases.
“We are proud of what we have accomplished in ten years,” said Kinny Chan, Precision’s CEO. “And as we look forward, we start with customer needs first – so we strive to understand those needs to ensure that our technology and service consistently exceed expectations.”
On its ten-year journey, Precision participated in high-profile Technology Assisted Review matters, developed solutions to store one of the largest searchable Relativity databases in the world, and converted itself into a 100%-employee-owned company (ESOP). Along the way, Precision also created the DiscoveryBriefs YouTube channel, as well as the Precision Discovery blog, to help clients, attorneys, and discovery professionals learn about discovery industry changes, interesting judicial cases, and the nuts and bolts of discovery and forensics with “how-to” “what-is” explainers.
“In the midst of market change and technical innovation, our commitment to client service excellence has been a constant,” said Jerry Barbanel, Precision’s founder and General Counsel. “Our success and longevity are the result of our team’s talent and dedication to client success. When our clients face the pressures of litigation, our team steps up to provide exceptional customer service and deliver results,” said Precision’s COO, Jeff Hudson.
